It is a small ornament for a shelf or table, with an angel inside the glass and no wording.\n\nThis guide covers what the piece is, what the listing says about the engraving, where it can go in a home, and how to decide whether it is right for the person you have in mind.\n\nWhat you are looking at\n\nThe product is a clear crystal sphere, listed at 80 mm across (3.15 inches), with a praying angel engraved inside it in 3D. The angel has joined hands and raised wings, with small stars around it. Underneath sits a silver-coloured metal stand with three scrolled legs.\n\nThe listing describes the crystal as K9 and the finish as polished.\n\nThe listed item weight is 1.5 pounds.\n\nOne important point before you order. This is a fixed design. There is no engraving service, no name, no dates and no message inside the glass. The ball arrives exactly as it appears in the photographs. If you need a name or date on the piece, this is not it.\n\nThe engraving inside the glass\n\nThere is no opening in the sphere and no visible seam in the photos, and the figure sits in the middle of the crystal.\n\nThe listing says the 3D angel is engraved into the ball by laser. It gives no further detail on the method.\n\nThe engraving is inside the glass, and the finish of the sphere is listed as polished.\n\nThe photos show the angel from the front, white against the clear ball. How it looks from the side or back is not shown.\n\nLight and placement\n\nThe listing says the ball is very shiny under light. In the photos, taken against a dark background, the engraved lines show white.\n\nThe listing suggests a bedside table, desk, bookshelf or coffee table. Somewhere with some light will show the engraving better than a dark cupboard shelf.\n\nOne practical note. A clear glass sphere can focus sunlight the same way a magnifying lens does. If a window gets strong direct sun, avoid placing the ball where that beam lands on fabric, paper or a wooden surface. This is standard advice for any crystal ball, not a defect in this one. A spot with soft indirect daylight avoids the issue completely.\n\nWho it suits\n\nThis piece works best for someone who wants a visible reminder rather than a tucked-away one. Think of the person who keeps photographs on the mantelpiece, not in a drawer.\n\nThe listing suggests it for a mum, dad, friend, wife, husband, grandad or grandma, as a sympathy or memorial gift. There is no wording or religious text on it. The listing also describes it as a home ornament and as a gift for Christmas, Mother's Day or Father's Day, so it need not be tied to a bereavement.\n\nIt is less suited to someone who specifically asked for a keepsake with a name and dates. It is also a glass ball on a stand, so it is not a good choice for a shelf that a small child can reach.\n\nIf you are buying as a remembrance gift for mum or a remembrance gift for dad, the size helps. An 80 mm ball takes up little room on a crowded surface.\n\nThinking about size\n\nThe ball is listed at 80 mm (3.15 in) across. The size photo shows it on its stand beside a mobile phone for scale.\n\nA large crystal block needs a dedicated spot. An 80 mm ball on a low stand needs very little.\n\nIf the recipient has limited shelf space, for example in a nursing home room, it can sit beside a photo frame without crowding it.\n\nGiving it well\n\nAccording to the listing, each ball is packed in a gift box with a wipe and a greeting card. The photo shows a white box with a foam insert and a card printed with the words Best Wishes on the front. If that wording does not suit the occasion, use a card of your own.\n\nIf you write a message, short is usually better.\n\nThere is no wording on the ball itself, so the card is the only place for a message.\n\nLooking after it\n\nThe care is simple. Wipe clean with a soft cloth, dry or very slightly damp. That is it.\n\nAvoid abrasive pads, scouring powder and strong cleaning sprays, because all of them can dull or scratch a polished surface. Do not run it under a tap. A wet sphere is slippery and far too easy to drop onto a hard floor, and water lingering around the metal stand does it no favours.\n\nWhen you clean it, lift the ball off the stand and rest it on a folded towel or a soft mat so it cannot roll away. Clean the stand separately with a dry cloth. Put the ball back when both are dry.\n\nIf it is being stored or moved house, the original gift box is the best packaging you will have. Keep it.\n\nHonest limits\n\nA few things to be clear about, because nobody enjoys a surprise after the parcel arrives.\n\nThere is no engraving service and no wording on the piece. The listing gives a colour of silver, which refers to the metal stand, not the crystal. The size of the stand and the overall height are not listed.\n\nIt is glass crystal, and it can chip or crack if it hits a tiled floor. Treat it like an ornament, because that is what it is.\n\nThe short version\n\nA guardian angel engraved crystal ball is a small ornament. It has a 3D praying angel inside clear K9 crystal and sits on a silver-coloured metal stand.\n\nIt is listed at 80 mm across and 1.5 pounds, and comes in a gift box with a wipe and a card. It is a fixed design with no wording.\n\nIf you want names and dates on the piece, look elsewhere.
